Inclusive Football Festa Hiroshima 2026 to be Held on Saturday, June 6!

The Japan Para Football Federation (JIFF, Bunkyo-ku, Tokyo, Chairman: Tsuyoshi Kitazawa) and the Hiroshima Inclusive Football Federation (HIFF, Hiroshima City, Hiroshima Prefecture, Chairman: Toshihiko Sakamitsu) will host the "Inclusive Football Festa Hiroshima 2026" on Saturday, June 6, 2026, at Hiroshima Municipal Hiroshima Special Needs School (Hiroshima City, Hiroshima Prefecture), aiming to realize an inclusive society through soccer.

This will be the 6th time the event has been held, and as in previous years, it will be supported by local corporate sponsors and collaborations with Sanfrecce Hiroshima (J.League), Sanfrecce Hiroshima Regina (WE.League), A-pfeile Hiroshima (para-soccer team), and others.

Part 1 will feature "Mazekkoze Soccer" for elementary school students, where children with and without disabilities can enjoy playing together. Part 2 will offer "Mazekkoze Walking Football," open to anyone. Both parts will also include para-soccer experience sessions. Additionally, Sanfrecce Hiroshima Ambassador Koji Morisaki, Sanfrecce Hiroshima Regina Ambassador Yukari Kinga, and JIFF Chairman Tsuyoshi Kitazawa will attend as guests to enjoy the event with the participants.

Purpose: To create opportunities for mutual understanding between children/adults with disabilities and children/adults without disabilities through soccer, aiming to realize an inclusive society where everyone can mix regardless of disability.

Date: Saturday, June 6, 2026, with a complete changeover system.

[Part 1] 10:00-12:30: Mazekkoze Soccer, Para-soccer experience session

[Part 2] 13:30-17:00: Mazekkoze Walking Football, Para-soccer experience session

Venue: Gymnasium of Hiroshima Municipal Hiroshima Special Needs School (4-1-1 Dejima, Minami-ku, Hiroshima City)

Content:

① Mazekkoze Soccer: Soccer played by mixed teams of children with and without disabilities.

② Para-soccer experience session: A program where participants can experience four types of para-soccer: Amputee Soccer (for amputees), Blind Soccer/Low Vision Futsal (for visually impaired), Powerchair Football, and Deaf Soccer (for hearing impaired).

③ Mazekkoze Walking Football: Soccer played by mixed teams where anyone can participate regardless of disability, type, age, or gender.

Target Participants:

① Mazekkoze Soccer (Part 1 & Part 2) *Capacity: 24 elementary school students each

Elementary school students (who can walk independently regardless of disability or type)

② Para-soccer experience session (Part 1 & Part 2) *All visitors / No application required

Anyone can participate regardless of disability or ability to walk independently

③ Mazekkoze Walking Football (Part 2) *Capacity: 56 participants

Anyone can participate regardless of disability, age, or gender
