[YOU.FO World Cup 2026] Japan National Team's New Uniforms Decided! Apparel Brand "shigecco" from Saitama to Produce Again This Year.

The Japan YOU.FO Association (Location: Sumida-ku, Tokyo) announces that the uniform design for the YOU.FO Ring Cross Japan National Team has been decided for the "YOU.FO World Cup 2026" to be held in Ya'an, Sichuan Province, China, from July 8 (Wed) to 13 (Mon), 2026.

Following last year's Tokyo event, the uniform production will be handled by "shigecco," an apparel brand from Saitama City. This year, two colors, pink and turquoise blue, will be available. The Japanese team, aiming for their second consecutive World Cup victory with a four-team lineup, will challenge the world stage in these uniforms.

This year's uniforms will be available in two colors: pink and turquoise blue. Each team will select and wear one of these colors.

About Production Partner "shigecco"

An apparel brand from Saitama City, featuring a koi carp icon, with the concept "I am cute today too." Their official online store offers easy-to-wear items such as T-shirts and hoodies that are simple yet cute. In 2024, they began full-scale sales of sports items and production of team sportswear/commemorative goods. shigecco items add "cuteness" to everyday life and sports scenes.

Japan National Team's Aspirations

For the second year in a row, shigecco has produced the Japan National Team uniforms.

Having stood on the podium last year in uniforms designed by shigecco, we are strongly motivated to stand on the podium again in our new uniforms this year.

This year, we will challenge the world with a four-team lineup. We aim to make our presence felt with pink and light blue uniforms and reach the top of the podium once more. Please pay attention to these uniforms at the venue.

What is "YOU.FO"?

A next-generation sport originating from the Netherlands, it is a game that combines elements of lacrosse and ultimate frisbee. Players use a special stick to throw a ring, and it is characterized by being non-contact, fair play, and playable without referees (self-judged). It can be enjoyed by people of all ages and genders and is spreading, particularly in Europe and Asia, as a "connecting sport" that emphasizes trust and cooperation between people.
