The Paralym Art Operation Office (General Incorporated Association for the Promotion of Independence for People with Disabilities) is partnering with TMEIC, a gold partner, to hold an art contest for people with disabilities across Japan. TMEIC is a manufacturing company that supports industrial and social infrastructure through advanced technology and product capabilities. For this contest, participants are invited to create artwork based on TMEIC's brand strategy, 'Moving the World Forward,' and four keywords: 'Support,' 'Future,' 'Create,' and 'Bright.' The contest is open to anyone registered with Paralym Art or those with disabilities eligible to register. The submission period is from June 1st to June 30th, 2026. The Grand Prize winner will receive 100,000 JPY, and two Excellence Award winners will receive 50,000 JPY each. Winning works are planned to be used for sustainability reports and office displays. Paralym Art provides art created by people with disabilities to companies and individuals, paying artists for their work to promote economic independence.
