Yumi Nishimura, Representative Director of the Japan Pediatric Developmental Parenting Support Association (CDPSA-JAPAN), conducted a municipal-commissioned lecture at Aeon Mall Imabari New City in Ehime Prefecture on March 7, 2026, and a small-group lecture at a parenting support salon in Takatsuki, Osaka, on April 22, 2026. Despite the difference in scale—approximately 80 attendees at the commercial facility and 30 at the parenting salon—both events were highly acclaimed for Nishimura’s consistent stance of ensuring participants leave with knowledge they can immediately put into practice. This press release introduces the association's lecture achievements to local governments, administration, corporations, and educational institutions. Nishimura's lectures are characterized by interactive sessions that address the specific concerns of individual participants, rather than one-way presentations. The association remains committed to providing high-quality lectures through ongoing partnerships with municipalities and organizations.
(Details regarding event summaries, the three pillars of the lectures, participant feedback, and the lecturer's profile are included in the full text.)
'Child Development Consultation Academy VARY,' led by Nishimura, has grown since its inception in April 2022 into one of Japan's largest online parenting support communities led by a physician, with over 250 members across 35 prefectures and 9 countries. Her lecture tours serve as a way to return the real-world voices of parents and caregivers accumulated through VARY back to their respective regions. The association offers flexible lectures and training sessions tailored to themes and scales, including public seminars for parents and training for health centers, corporations, and educational institutions.
