The UX Intelligence Association (UXIA), based in Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo, and led by Chairman Naoki Endo, announced that Takashi Asanuma has been appointed as a board member effective March 31, 2026. With Asanuma’s background in leading the integration of design and technology within the government, including the Digital Agency, UXIA aims to further promote the social implementation and advancement of UX intelligence in the AI era.
Comment from Mr. Asanuma: 'I deeply resonate with the philosophy of the UX Intelligence Association and have accepted the role of board member. As we enter the era of agent-based AI, 'good UX' that fosters symbiosis between humans and technology, and the intelligence to realize it, has become an essential social infrastructure. I will leverage my experience in both the public and private sectors to help pass on a richer and more reliable social infrastructure to the next generation.'
Biography of Takashi Asanuma: Participant at the Digital Agency, Executive Advisor at GovTech Tokyo. Holds a Ph.D. in Engineering from Keio University. After working at a major Japanese electronics manufacturer, a foreign design consulting firm, and a megabank's strategic subsidiary, he became CDO of the Digital Agency in September 2021 and Digital Supervisor in April 2022. He has held his current positions since November 2025.
