The UX Intelligence Association (Location: Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo; Director: Naoki Endo; hereinafter: UXIA) will hold a hybrid online and offline conference, "UX Design Conference in the Age of Agentic AI," on Tuesday, July 14, 2026.

Recently, there has been a shift from Generative AI to Agentic AI, and a new world is emerging where visitors to websites and applications are AI rather than humans. In this environment, the field of UX is changing its form day by day.

This conference will provide an opportunity to discuss and consider, alongside renowned experts, which parts should be delegated to AI and which parts require human intervention, as well as the risks of Agentic AI in society and the role of UX design.

In Part 1, UXIA Director Hisashi Asanuma, Advisor Takayuki Fukatsu, and Secretary-General Yasufumi Fujii will discuss "What to Prepare Now and Skills That Will Be Valued Going Forward." In Part 2, Deputy Secretary-General Hironobu Konami will engage in a dialogue with experts from business companies about "The Current State of Agentic AI Utilization."

Seating for in-person attendance is limited to 50 people, and a social gathering with the speakers is also planned after the event. We hope you will join us to update your future-oriented activities and thinking.

About the Association

UXIA was established in May 2021 with the aim of realizing a society where good UX abounds and users can freely choose it, by promoting and refining "UX Intelligence," a fundamental competency required for DX personnel who will pioneer new eras. Its members primarily consist of companies promoting DX in Japan, with 41 member companies as of May 2026.

To facilitate more concrete discussions and research on UX, four subcommittees have been established: "Advanced Case Study Subcommittee," "UX Organizational Development Subcommittee," "Generative AI x UX Practice Study Group," and "Qualification Training Development Subcommittee," with each company actively pursuing its activities.
