The Peace Communication Foundation will host "The Children's Conference of the Future in Support of United Nations in KAMAKURA." This event is open to 4th to 6th graders who live in or attend elementary school in Kamakura City.

This event is a domestic expansion of "The Children's Conference of the Future in Support of United Nations," which was created from the BEYOND 2020 NEXT FORUM (an initiative certified by the Cabinet Office) to energize Japan beyond 2020. It received title certification from the United Nations Headquarters in 2023. This workshop-style event allows children to discuss and present their ideas in groups about a "future Kamakura where people want to live, continue living, and be involved" from the perspective of SDGs. The top prize will be awarded to the group with the best ideas.
