The Ruby Foundation (Location: Minato-ku, Tokyo; Representative Director: Yutaka Ito; hereinafter referred to as "Ruby Foundation"), which aims to create a "Rubiful" society where everyone can learn easily and multiculturalism coexists by appropriately increasing furigana (ruby) in society, announces that a "Rubiful Books" fair is being held at Maruzen Junkudo Shoten, Maruzen Marunouchi Main Store.

In Japanese, it can be difficult to understand content without being able to read kanji, and it is more difficult than looking up English words written in alphabet, making the existence of unreadable kanji a hurdle to reading. The Ruby Foundation believes that if books are appropriately marked with ruby, children and people who are not good at kanji can read books in fields that interest them, expanding their possibilities, and therefore is engaged in selecting "Rubiful Books" with abundant furigana.
