The Osaka Decarbonization Management Support Center, based within the General Foundation Osaka Prefectural Green Corporation (Headquarters: Osaka City, Osaka Prefecture; Representative: Kazuto Minami), will launch the 'Decarbonization Management School Osaka' on Monday, August 31, 2026, at a conference room in Osaka City, targeting small and medium-sized enterprises.

The 'Decarbonization Management School Osaka' is a continuous six-session course designed for SMEs in Osaka Prefecture to comprehensively learn about the necessity and benefits of decarbonization management, practical implementation methods, and external communication strategies through lectures and group work. Participation is free of charge.

Learn decarbonization management from scratch! A practical program combining lectures with hands-on activities such as action plan development.

As efforts toward achieving carbon neutrality by 2050 accelerate, decarbonization management is rapidly expanding. Not only large corporations but also SMEs are now expected to advance decarbonization. The Osaka Decarbonization Management Support Center, based at the General Foundation Osaka Prefectural Green Corporation, aims to build a foundation for decarbonization support across the prefecture by providing tailored support packages and accompaniment services based on each business's progress, promoting awareness of decarbonization management, and offering technical support to support organizations—ultimately supporting SMEs in transitioning toward decarbonized operations.

This newly launched 'Decarbonization Management School Osaka' offers a six-session continuous course designed to help SMEs practically implement decarbonization management by starting from the basics. The program enables participants to practically learn the necessity and benefits of decarbonization, practical implementation methods, and external communication strategies by applying knowledge gained through lectures in individual and group work exercises.

We hope this school will serve as a catalyst for SMEs to take their first steps toward decarbonization management.
