An exhibition focusing on Kota Iguchi, co-representative of the creative association CEKAI, will be held at the Ginza Graphic Gallery. As a motion designer and creative director, Iguchi has consistently developed expressions centered on dynamic design, ranging from motion graphics to live-action video. In this exhibition, he focuses on the attempt to add time and space to graphics that have traditionally existed as flat entities.

For this exhibition, Rei Ishii, Ryu Mieno, Taku Sasaki, and Aki Kanai are invited as collaboration guests, and three new works will be unveiled in the first-floor gallery. By assigning themes such as geometric shapes x regularity, characters x physicality, and paper x continuity—which are fundamental elements of graphic design—and challenging guest artists to create new works, the exhibition focuses on the trajectory of thought leading from flat graphics to 3D and motion graphics. Combined with representative works by Kota Iguchi and CEKAI displayed in the basement gallery, the exhibition highlights the appeal and future possibilities of experiential, immersive visual communication.
