Guests can enjoy the fireworks display from the comfort of their guest rooms.

The Toyohira River Fireworks Festival, held every July, is one of Sapporo's most iconic summer events, featuring approximately 4,000 fireworks, including starmines, lighting up the night sky.

For InterContinental Sapporo, which opened in October 2025, this marks its first summer. Capitalizing on its location overlooking the launch site, the hotel has prepared its first-ever fireworks viewing stay packages.

The hotel is offering three distinct packages tailored to different preferences, including options to enjoy dinner at the contemporary kappo restaurant 'SAWAKA' before viewing the fireworks, or enjoying champagne and in-room dining in the privacy of the room.
