Kyo-Jidori chicken is an original breed developed in Kyoto Prefecture. It was renewed in 2020 to be a breed that can practice sustainable agriculture while inheriting the deliciousness of the previous generation developed in 1991, and a stable supply system was established. The new Kyo-Jidori chicken is a 100% purebred crossbreed, a cross of highly-rated chicken breeds, raised with care in nature, and is characterized by its firm texture and deep flavor.
