Itochu Techno-Solutions Corporation (President & CEO: Tatsushi Shingu; Headquarters: Minato-ku, Tokyo; hereinafter 'CTC') has entered into a partnership agreement with Nexthink S.A. (CEO: Pedro Bados; Headquarters: Lausanne, Switzerland; hereinafter 'Nexthink'), a leader in the Digital Employee Experience (DEX) field, to begin domestic distribution of the DEX management platform 'Nexthink.'
Nexthink is a SaaS-based platform that visualizes the usability and stress levels of the IT environments used by employees, supporting the early detection and resolution of issues. By quantitatively grasping the employee experience, it contributes to improved operational efficiency and the realization of a more comfortable work environment. CTC will target large enterprises across all industries, focusing on IT departments that manage support desks, and aims to achieve 2.6 billion yen in sales over three years, including related business.
With the spread of telework and hybrid work, the business devices, applications, and cloud services used by employees have become diverse and complex. Reducing IT stress is crucial for improving employee productivity and also helps reduce the burden on IT departments that handle employee inquiries. However, conventional system management has struggled to visualize the IT usability issues and stress felt by employees, even if it can monitor system uptime.
Nexthink is a platform that analyzes the status of PCs, applications, and networks in real-time to visualize the IT usability issues and stress experienced by employees. It supports a wide range of environments, including Windows, Mac, Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI), and mobile devices.
The platform automatically collects and analyzes response delays and error conditions occurring on devices, presenting the number of affected employees, the impact on operations, and assumed causes on a dashboard. Furthermore, it uses AI to analyze signs and causes of problems, supporting employees in resolving issues autonomously through actions such as application setting adjustments or reboots. This allows IT departments to address issues before receiving individual inquiries, enabling both rapid problem resolution and a reduction in IT operational load.
CTC provides end-to-end support, from concept formulation and Proof of Value (PoV) to design, implementation, and operation/maintenance, working alongside customers with a view toward optimizing the entire digital workplace*1. A PoV has already been conducted at a major domestic manufacturing company involving several hundred PCs, and the company anticipates future use cases such as streamlining company-wide inquiries and incident response.
Furthermore, by combining Nexthink with the 'Digital Workplace for AI'—an AI PC environment provided by the CTC Group—the company will optimize device performance and settings based on visualized usage and issues, thereby driving efficiency in both business and IT operations.
Moving forward, CTC will continue to promote initiatives that combine improved work comfort with IT efficiency using Nexthink, contributing to the evolution of corporate work environments through continuous improvement based on visualized data.
