Itochu Techno-Solutions Corporation (President and CEO: Tatsushi Shingu, Headquarters: Minato-ku, Tokyo, Abbreviation: CTC) has entered into a business alliance agreement with Itochu Corporation (President and COO: Keita Ishii, Headquarters: Minato-ku, Tokyo) and Mamezou Inc. (President and CEO: Tetsuya Nakahara, Headquarters: Shinjuku-ku, Tokyo) with the aim of strengthening business collaboration, primarily in the field of Physical AI.

Through this alliance, the three companies will combine their respective technological capabilities and customer bases to aim for the social implementation of Physical AI and the creation of new value.

In recent years, labor shortages and the need for productivity improvements have become challenges in fields such as manufacturing, logistics, infrastructure maintenance and inspection, and mobility. Against this backdrop, investments in automation and advanced technologies are expanding, and expectations are growing for the "Physical AI" domain, which combines AI-driven recognition and decision-making with robot-executed tasks. On the other hand, there is a demand for a system that can handle everything from design to implementation and operation, taking into account the actual conditions on site.

In this alliance, Itochu Corporation, Mamezou, and CTC will collaborate, focusing on promoting sales collaboration, human resource development, and strengthening the Physical AI business. Specifically, in addition to accumulating knowledge through discussions and demonstrations for collaboration, they will provide support for the design and construction of entire systems, foster AI human resources, and explore the creation of new businesses utilizing Physical AI.

CTC will be responsible for verifying technologies, including software for controlling robots and equipment, from the perspective of combining cloud, AI, and robotics-related technologies for implementation, and will also consider collaborations. Itochu Corporation will be responsible for creating business opportunities by leveraging its broad customer base and network, while Mamezou will provide specialized and advanced development capabilities in robotics, AI, and embedded technologies based on software engineering.

The three companies will promote collaboration by leveraging their respective strengths and through mutually complementary role divisions.

CTC has been advancing initiatives in AI-driven development and advanced IT human resource development through collaboration with Mamezou. Moving forward, they will utilize the knowledge and technologies gained through this alliance to promote initiatives in the Physical AI domain in stages, in collaboration with Itochu Corporation and Mamezou. By providing services that solve customer challenges, they will contribute to the realization of a sustainable society.
