First-ever Spring Edition of the Bizen Pottery Festival on May 3rd & 4th during GW! Spring Bizen Pottery Festival

This is the Tourism Promotion Division of Bizen City, the home of Bizen ware, one of Japan's Six Ancient Kilns. We will be dispatching information regarding tourism promotion in Bizen City. Our most iconic event is the 'Bizen Pottery Festival,' held annually on the third Sunday of October and the preceding Saturday. Over two days, approximately 100,000 pottery enthusiasts gather, bringing excitement to the entire town. Starting in 2026, we will hold the festival for the first time during the spring Golden Week (GW). We will convey the charm of Bizen ware so that families and younger people can also enjoy it.
