57th Holiday Promenade "Yukata de Ginbura 2026" to be Held on Saturday, August 1st | Ginza Turns into Summer Colors with Uchimizu, O-Ginza Bon Odori, and Famous Store Stalls

The Ginza-dori Federation (General Incorporated Association) will hold the Ginza summer festival "Yukata de Ginbura 2026" on Saturday, August 1, 2026. This event began in 2007 as part of the "Holiday Promenade" commemorating the pedestrian paradise, and this year marks its 20th edition. Following last year's success, the popular O-Ginza Bon Odori dance will return, and food stalls offering the tastes of famous Ginza establishments will appear on Ginza-dori. The event will feature a variety of activities for both adults and children, including uchimizu (water sprinkling), a performance by Dengakuza, and kids' experience corners.

Various events will be held along Ginza-dori from 1-chome to 8-chome, including a performance by Dengakuza, uchimizu, and a kids' space. There will be tie-up projects with commercial facilities and department stores in the Ginza area, and many stores in Ginza will participate as "Omotenashi Stores." Services offering benefits to visitors who meet certain conditions, such as wearing a yukata, will also be provided. Please take this opportunity to experience the Ginza summer festival.

Simultaneous water sprinkling on Ginza-dori at the signal of a drum. The cooling effect of the water sprinkling will create a pleasant breeze, offering a wonderful moment in the evening Ginza.

O-Ginza Bon Odori

Time: 16:00 - 20:00 / Location: Ginza-dori

Planned to be held again this year following last year. After a purification ceremony for safety prayers by Hie Shrine, a Bon Odori festival will be held around a one-day-only yagura (stage). Please enjoy the summer atmosphere of Ginza.

Ginza Cool Breeze Project Ice Pillar Exhibition

Ice pillars with posters inside will be displayed. Enjoy strolling through Ginza while feeling the coolness of the ice.
