Girl Scouts of Japan (President: Nanae Hazama) will host a five-day camp starting August 7 (Fri) to August 11 (Tue/Holiday), 2026, gathering approximately 100 high school-age students from across Japan.
During this camp, participants will engage in tent camping and outdoor cooking in nature, gaining practical communication skills and leadership training with peers from various backgrounds.
Most activities are conducted by the girls themselves under adult supervision. With the decline in participation in nature-based activities for youth since the COVID-19 pandemic, the importance of real-world experiences outside of school is more critical than ever.
