Submit Your "Hahaha Senryu" and Make Us Laugh Out Loud!

The Japan Dental Technologists Association (JDTA) is calling for submissions for its "Hahaha Senryu" contest, themed around "teeth," including dentures, chewing comfort, and dental treatment, starting July 1 (Wed).

This "Hahaha Senryu" contest is held with the aim of increasing interest in oral health and dental care, leading up to "Denture Appreciation Day" (October 8, registered with the Japan Anniversary Association), which was established by the JDTA as a day to express gratitude for dental laboratory technologies such as dentures that contribute to people's vibrant lives and healthy longevity. Last year, we received as many as 2,843 entries. We look forward to receiving senryu that will make you laugh out loud "Hahaha (ha-ha-ha)!" this year as well.

"Hahaha Senryu" Submission Guidelines

[Submission Rules]

- The theme is "teeth," including dentures, chewing comfort, and dental treatment.

- Each person may submit up to 3 entries. Entries beyond the third will be considered invalid.

- Submissions must be original and unpublished works (not submitted to other contests, etc.). If duplicate submissions are discovered, the award will be revoked even after the winners have been decided.

- All rights regarding the use of submitted works belong to the organizer.

[Prizes]

- Grand Prize (1 entry): Certificate of Commendation, 30,000 yen in gift certificates

- Excellent Entry Prize (3 entries): Certificate of Commendation, 10,000 yen in gift certificates

- Honorable Mention (10 entries): Certificate of Commendation
