Three Amagasaki Companies Selected for METI's '300 Small and Medium Enterprises to Watch'

Three companies from Amagasaki, recommended by economic organizations and financial institutions including Open Innovation Core Amagasaki, have been selected for the '300 Small and Medium Enterprises to Watch' award by the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry (METI).

The '300 Small and Medium Enterprises to Watch' is an award program by the Small and Medium Enterprise Agency. It recognizes SMEs that serve as models for contributing to regional and national economic growth, based on recommendations from local economic organizations and financial institutions in five categories: 'Growth Strategy/Productivity Improvement,' 'Overseas Expansion,' 'GX,' 'DX,' and 'Investment in People/Environment.'

[Yamakin Co., Ltd.] Category: Growth Strategy, Productivity Improvement, Manufacturing Overview: Diversified into medical and semiconductor fields, moving away from automotive reliance. Achieved high value-added production through custom equipment and 24-hour operations.

[Maruichi Kogyo Co., Ltd.] Category: Growth Strategy, Productivity Improvement, Manufacturing Overview: Developed 'comprehensive logistics' and 'fixture business' using reinforced cardboard technology. Achieved high value-added results and reduced reliance on specific clients.

[Teramoto Transport & Warehouse Co., Ltd.] Category: Investment in People, Environment, Services Overview: Strengthened expertise in hazardous materials logistics through qualification support and salary system reform. Achieved talent retention and technology succession through extended retirement age and flexible work styles.
