Okayama Prefecture and the Okayama Prefecture Industrial Promotion Foundation will hold a "BCP Promotion and Development Seminar" on Wednesday, July 22, Reiwa 8 (2026), at Purity Mabiki. The seminar aims to generate interest in BCP (Business Continuity Planning) among many businesses and encourage them to develop their own BCPs.

This seminar will cover the overview of BCP, the necessity of its development, and the introductory aspects of creating one. With the subtitle "~Towards a Company Unshaken by Intensifying Cyberattacks with Evolved BCPs~," it will also introduce measures against "cyberattacks," a rapidly growing threat, and provide case studies from businesses that are actively implementing BCPs and managing their operations after development.

Furthermore, an overview of the "Business Continuity Enhancement Plan (Jigyokei)" promoted by the national government will be presented, providing content that participants can use to develop their own company's BCP.

BCP is becoming essential not only for minimizing damage and continuing operations during disasters and infectious disease outbreaks, and protecting employee safety, but also for maintaining customer trust and fostering company growth. Please take advantage of this opportunity to deepen your understanding of BCP and take the first step towards its development.
