An Open-Call Exhibition Taking a New Step Toward the Next Era

Since its founding in 1965, the Kanagawa Prefectural Art Exhibition has provided opportunities for everyone to showcase their work and has served as a venue for appreciating excellent art, growing into the largest open-call art event in the prefecture.

For many years, it was held at the Kanagawa Kenmin Hall Gallery. With the closure of that facility, the committee is boldly challenging itself with new initiatives that look toward future events at a new Prefectural Hall.

Under the new theme 'Trial to the NEXT,' the exhibition aims to open up possibilities for the next generation of art while engaging sincerely with diverse expressions that evolve with the times.
