The Japan Philharmonic Orchestra (Suginami-ku, Tokyo; Kunio Ishizuka, Board Chairman) will launch bundle tickets for two 'Geigeki Series' concerts at the Tokyo Metropolitan Theatre: one conducted by Ken-ichiro Kobayashi on November 1, 2026, and the other by Chief Conductor Kahchun Wong on January 10, 2027.
In the November 'Geigeki Series,' Conductor Ken-ichiro Kobayashi, who has built a long-term bond of trust with the JPO, will lead the performance. The concert will feature the JPO's acclaimed principal wind players as soloists, showcasing mature music born from a long-standing musical connection.
The following January 'Geigeki Series' will feature a New Year's Concert conducted by Chief Conductor Kahchun Wong. The concert will welcome rising young trumpeter Hayato Kodama and include works such as Haydn's 'Trumpet Concerto' and Strauss II's 'The Blue Danube.'
These limited-time bundle tickets (S and A seats only) offer the earliest and best-value access to both performances.
