Tokyo Metropolitan University and meijo University signed a comprehensive partnership memorandum on July 8, 2026. This memorandum aims to promote the development of human resources who can contribute to solving social issues and creating new value through mutual cooperation and collaboration between the two universities, as well as to enhance university education and streamline university operations to achieve this.
Through this partnership, Tokyo Metropolitan University's Faculty of Co-creation, scheduled to open in April 2028, will collaborate with meijo University to deepen students' interdisciplinary and practical learning by leveraging different regional characteristics in educational research and through faculty collaboration.
Furthermore, various exchanges will be promoted, including providing opportunities for students to study in different regions (domestic study abroad) and take unique university courses through mutual student exchange.
