Godo Kaisha MyCabin (Headquarters: Tokyo, Representative: Hiroyuki Mashita, hereinafter "MyCabin") announces that it has officially launched its operations this year to support improvements in working environments and ensure worker safety in hot and cold conditions at manufacturing and logistics sites, and will be developing two brands of environmentally adaptive movable booths.
The products announced are the "iCabin" (standard movable model) with high insulation and cold storage performance, and the "SafeCabin" (fire-resistant movable model) currently under development for productization, which is suitable for installation in areas with fire regulations (such as fire compartmentation and interior finishing restrictions) in factories and warehouses. Both brands will offer two sizes in total: a personal size "1-person" (iC1 / SC1: W1200 x D1400 x H2400 mm) that is not limited by space, and a "4-person" (iC4 / SC4: W2000 x D2000 x H2500 mm, interior height 2050 mm) that can accommodate multiple people for breaks, providing comfortable spaces that can be installed without construction.

Background of Establishment and Product Development: Clearing Legal Regulations for Indoor Installation for Heatstroke Countermeasures in Summer and Cold Weather Countermeasures in Winter
KEY FIGURES
Amidst the promotion of heatstroke countermeasures in workplaces where work is performed in hot environments, following the enforcement of the "Revised Industrial Safety and Health Act" by the Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare, securing appropriate rest areas at manufacturing sites and logistics hubs has become a challenge for each company. Conventional individual booths for offices are primarily designed for sound insulation and web conferencing within rooms, making it difficult to achieve the insulation performance required for harsh temperature changes and to comply with the strict fire regulations required in factories.
Therefore, Hiroyuki Mashita, who has been involved in the specification design and promotion of movable booths for many years, established the new company "MyCabin." The company has introduced excellent manufacturing technology (insulation, fire resistance, airtight panels) from a major panel manufacturer with extensive experience in Japan in prefabricated freezers/refrigerators and airtight interior doors for precision cleanrooms. By combining this reliable material technology with MyCabin's original non-drain energy-saving cooling and heating system "Cabinair," we have developed environmentally adaptive booths that achieve both improved industrial safety and health and compliance with legal regulations.
Product Lineup and Key Features
1. "iCabin" (iC1 / iC4) Designed with Insulation and Environmental Performance in Mind
This is the standard series that suppresses external heat effects and improves cooling and heating efficiency. The walls and ceiling use environmentally friendly non-fluorinated insulation panels with a low Global Warming Potential (GWP) blowing agent (HFO). The thick panel structure, which has obtained non-combustible certification, maintains excellent insulation performance (thermal transmittance 0.50 W/m2・K) and sound insulation performance (28dB) stably over a long period.
2. Fire-Resistant Structure Specification "SafeCabin" (SC1 / SC4) (Joint Development in Progress) Considering Fire Regulations
This is a fire-resistant structure compatible series for areas where "fire-resistant structures" are required for walls, etc., such as within fire compartmentation or interior finishing restricted areas, according to the Building Standards Act and Fire Service Act. The entire frame and walls use fire-resistant non-combustible panels that have obtained fire-resistant structure certification from the Minister of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism. Development is being strongly promoted in cooperation with a major panel manufacturer to achieve productization and establish a supply system. It is suitable for installation in areas where fire safety is emphasized, such as manufacturing areas within factories and near locations where hazardous materials are handled.
3. Series Common Design: Stable Airtightness and Heat Shielding Structure
The entrance/exit features a high-airtightness resin door with a cremone bolt and insulated double glazing, applying door technology for cleanrooms that require precise airtightness (airtightness rating: equivalent to Grade A-4). In addition, a "double insulated panel ceiling structure" with exhaust slits is adopted in the ceiling, suppressing the effects of radiant heat from above and improving the operating efficiency of cooling and heating.
4. Original Air Conditioning "Cabinair" Eliminates Drainage Work
A unique "non-drain specification" cooling and heating system that does not require drainage of condensate generated during air conditioner operation is standard. It can operate stably from the day of installation by simply connecting to a single household 100V (15A) outlet, even in the center of a factory without drainage facilities or at temporary sites. Synergistic effects with the excellent insulation and airtight structure enable energy-saving operation that significantly suppresses wasteful power consumption.
5. "Mechanical Ventilation System (187 m3 / hr)" Compliant with Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare Standards
To maintain clean indoor air, a ventilation rate of "187 m3 / hr" is secured for the 4-person model (iC4 / SC4). The design thoroughly considers industrial safety and health.
Demonstration Experiment Guidance (On-site Viewing Available)
Currently, demonstration experiments are being conducted at two locations, within the logistics warehouse of a major domestic manufacturer and near Hamamatsucho Station, to allow people to experience the "iCabin 4" (iC4) 4-person insulated model.
Demonstration Content: Ability to maintain indoor temperature in a high-temperature warehouse environment, measurement of electricity consumption during cooling/heating operation, and continuous measurement and evaluation of mechanical ventilation and sound insulation performance. On-site Viewing: You can directly confirm the actual operating status and indoor comfort on-site. *Company representatives and media personnel wishing to visit, please contact us individually at the inquiry contact (E-mail) below. About Godo Kaisha MyCabin (Regarding the Establishment of the New Company)
Godo Kaisha MyCabin is a space solutions company that aims to solve challenges in various working environments with the concept of "the world's most comfortable mobile private space."
Hiroyuki Mashita, the representative, was formerly the President and CEO of Telecube Co., Ltd., and has been involved in the practical design of private booths in Japan for many years, including cooperating in the formulation process of "Fire Department Notification No. 622," which became the legal guideline for the sound dissemination of movable booths. To date, Mashita holds over 20 patents (including pending applications) as the inventor of private booths.
Booths for which he was involved in specifications and basic design, with over 40,000 units shipped, have been adopted in many workplaces, including by Okamura Corporation and major railway company groups, such as those in train stations.
Godo Kaisha MyCabin, starting as a new company, will leverage its solid design knowledge to provide highly practical movable infrastructure that complies with "heatstroke countermeasures" against severe temperature changes and "fire safety in the workplace," contributing to social environmental adaptation and labor safety.
