Active J.Leaguer Akihiko Yokoyama Supports Youth Soccer Teams in Yokohama City, Launches Training Equipment Donation Project

Akihiko Yokoyama's membership program, "Fellows," will launch the second phase of its "Yokohama City Soccer Team Support Project Presented by Akihiko Yokoyama Membership 'Fellows'" initiative, which aims to donate training equipment to soccer teams for children aged 12 and under (U-12) active in Yokohama City.

In this project, Akihiko Yokoyama will personally visit the practice sessions of the selected teams, participate in training with the children, and donate training equipment requested by the team.

Background of the Project

Under the concept of "Beyond support, fighting together, creating new value together," Fellows is engaged in activities to give back the support received from fans to the local community and the sports world.

As the first phase of these efforts, in July 2026, training equipment was donated to the Yokohama FC Soccer School, and an opportunity was created for Yokoyama to interact with the school students.

On that day, the sight of the children enjoying soccer with sparkling eyes was impressive, and Yokoyama himself strongly felt the desire to "continue this activity," leading to the decision to implement the second phase of this project.

This time, we are recruiting donations for youth soccer teams active in Yokohama City, aiming to deliver the joy of soccer to even more children.

When I was in elementary school, I had the experience of interacting with top team players at a soccer school, and I still vividly remember that time.

Practice sessions feel more exciting with new bibs, balls, or markers.

"Soccer is fun!"

I want to convey that feeling to as many children as possible.

I would be happy if this activity leads to new encounters and further deepens the children's love for soccer.
