Nagoya Railroad will unveil a new outfit for 'Nanachan,' the landmark figure in front of Nagoya Station, on June 24. In conjunction with this, new spatial decorations will be introduced along 'Nanachan Street' to deliver excitement to visitors and further energize the area.

Details are as follows:

1. New Outfit Reveal

A stylish and refined design incorporating Meitetsu's corporate colors has been adopted. Starting June 24, Nanachan will wear the new outfit for one week. Thereafter, during regular periods when Nanachan is not wearing special outfits for advertisements or events, this new outfit will be used to welcome visitors.

*Wearing period: Wednesday, June 24, 2026 – Tuesday, June 30, 2026

2. New Spatial Design for 'Nanachan Street'

During periods without advertisements or events, new spatial decorations such as hanging banners linked to the new outfit's design will be installed along 'Nanachan Street.' Rather than just a passageway, the entire space will integrate with Nanachan, creating an environment that naturally makes passersby stop and want to share photos with others.

3. New Logo for 'Nanachan' and 'Nanachan Street'

To make Nanachan more familiar to a wider audience, an original Nanachan logo has been created, featuring her stylish silhouette. It will be widely used in the future, including through various merchandise, to deliver items that add color to the region.

4. Nanachan's New Mission and Concept

Since her debut in 1973, Nanachan has been loved as Nagoya's 'holy ground for meeting up.' From now on, she will operate under the concept of 'city-coloring news maker.' By wearing outfits representing various companies, local governments, and products, she will continue to provide topics of conversation and promote the region's charm across Japan and around the world.
