Atelier JUN, a workshop-turned-residence minpaku, restarts in Teiyuyama, Kochi with new open-air bath

Kano Construction Co., Ltd. (Kochi City) has installed a new open-air bath at the 'Atelier JUN' minpaku facility in Teiyuyama, Konan City, Kochi Prefecture, and relaunched it in May 2026 as a 'private rental house with an open-air bath.' The facility, which utilizes a house designed by an architect, features a rooftop deck with distant ocean views and an atelier space filled with pottery works. Reservations are accepted via Airbnb. The house, formerly owned by a couple, retains the atmosphere of their life, including the wife's pottery. Kano Construction has preserved the building's charm while adding the new bath to enhance the stay experience. Having received high praise in its first year, it offers a harmonious experience of architecture, nature, and art.
