Gift Beer, Grow Forests: Kano Forest Ale Gift Set Donates 3% to Forest Conservation

Kano Kensetsu Co., Ltd. (Kochi City, Representative Director Yoichi Nakazawa) is selling the 'Kano Forest Ale Gift Set,' a craft beer set donating 3% of sales to forest conservation. As a timber construction firm, Kano Kensetsu signed the 'Collaborative Forest Partners Agreement' with Kochi Prefecture and Niyodogawa Town on July 25, 2022, to return resources to forests through thinning and educational activities. The gift set features beers from Kochi Campagne Brewery, including 'Kano Forest Ale' made with Japanese pepper from the Niyodo River basin. The set contains six 330ml bottles (Kano Forest Ale x2, Tosa IPA x1, Yuzu Pale Ale x1, Wajo Kolsch x1, Kaya Forest Hazy Ale x1) for 6,600 JPY (tax & cool delivery included). Kano Kensetsu also develops 100% locally sourced construction kits with Niyodogawa.
