On June 1, 2026, Okayama University (Kita-ku, Okayama City; President: Tomohiro Nasu) announced that, based on the comprehensive partnership agreement with the West Japan Railway Company (JR West) Okayama Branch, international students from the university appeared in a video promoting the appeal of the Setouchi area. This project was implemented with the goal of widely disseminating the charm of the Setouchi region's rich nature, history, culture, and tourism resources both domestically and internationally. The international students cooperated in the filming as performers, conveying the region's appeal from an international perspective. It is expected that the video will contribute to increasing awareness of the Setouchi area, promoting tourism, and aiding in regional revitalization.
