What is the "Increased Dividend and High Dividend" Strategy?

This "Increased Dividend and High Dividend" strategy selects stocks by focusing on the likelihood of increased dividends in the current fiscal year's financial results, in addition to high dividend yields. It employs a rule-based management approach, selecting approximately 30 stocks with the highest dividend yields from Japanese stocks deemed highly likely to increase dividends in the current fiscal year's financial results.

*If the number of stocks is less than approximately 30, stocks belonging to the group next highest in dividend yield after those with the highest dividend yield, and which have a positive dividend increase score, will be selected in descending order of dividend yield. If the number is still insufficient, stocks will be selected from the group with the highest dividend increase score in descending order of dividend yield until 30 stocks are met. *In principle, review and rebalancing of stocks will be conducted monthly. *The number of investment stocks will be reviewed as appropriate based on factors such as fund size and liquidity. Additionally, the number of stocks may temporarily deviate from the above during rebalancing or other operational situations. *The above illustration is subject to change in the future.

Under this strategy, Daiwa Asset Management selects stocks with a high likelihood of increased dividends and high dividend yields based on its proprietary analysis. By incorporating the perspective of "dividend increases" alongside high dividend yields, the aim is to achieve higher performance.

What are Stocks with a High Likelihood of Increased Dividends?

At the time of stock selection, the likelihood of increased dividends in the current fiscal year's financial results is scored based on factors such as the company's capital efficiency, growth potential, and dividend capacity. The Fund utilizes this score to select stocks with a high probability of dividend increases as investment candidates.
