Daiwa House Realty Management Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo; President and CEO: Mitsuhiro Ito), a member of the Daiwa House Group, has completed a full renovation of the Daiwa Roynet Hotel Oita in Oita City, Oita Prefecture, and began offering three newly designed room types starting July 15, 2026.
The hotel has been undergoing a full renovation since May, and as of July 15 (Wednesday), it has launched accommodations in three new room types: the 'Family Room,' 'Deluxe Twin,' and 'Superior Twin' (some rooms resumed operations from July 7, Tuesday). The full renovation is scheduled to be completed by September 1 (Tuesday).
Located along 'Chuo-dori,' the main street of Oita City, the hotel has traditionally attracted business travelers due to its convenient access and proximity to the city center. However, in recent years, demand from families, groups, and inbound tourists has increased. To meet these evolving accommodation needs, the hotel has undergone its first full renovation since opening in September 2008.
This renovation introduces three new room types and adds 20 rooms accommodating three or more guests, enhancing comfort for family and group stays. The 'Family Room' (36.1㎡), suitable for up to four guests, features a modern Japanese design with a raised tatami area, ideal for families with children. Additionally, the spacious 'Deluxe Twin' (33.6㎡), accommodating up to three guests, has been newly introduced. These rooms are equipped with microwaves and refrigerators with freezers, improving comfort for long-term stays. All 240 guest rooms have also been fully renovated with new interiors and furniture. For business travelers, the basic 'Standard Double' rooms continue to feature wide desks, ensuring a productive work environment.
In response to the growing number of tourists, a new self-service baggage port has been installed in the lobby, enhancing guest convenience and staff efficiency.
The company will continue to renovate its hotels to meet diverse needs and create more comfortable accommodations.
