[Event Report] Daiwa Can Exhibited at Technology Experience Event 'FUN+TECH DAY!'

Comprehensive container manufacturer Daiwa Can Co., Ltd. hosted a booth at 'FUN+TECH DAY!', a vocational and technical experience event for children held at the Sagamihara Industry Hall (Sagamihara City, Kanagawa Prefecture) on Sunday, June 7, 2026.

'FUN+TECH DAY!' is organized by Central Japan Railway Company (JR Central) with the goal of providing a place where children can experience 'Technology (TECH)' in a 'fun (FUN)' way, through cooperation among various manufacturing companies concentrated in the Sagamihara area and companies with technologies that support society.

At the company's booth, content was provided to experience the manufacturing process of cans from production to delivery. Participating children challenged themselves to create their own original cans. They experienced a series of manufacturing processes, including package design and the sealing process using a seamer. Children who held their completed original cans were seen learning while having fun, such as taking commemorative photos in front of a vending machine panel.

Through this event, the company aimed to deepen exchanges with the surrounding area of its Tokyo Plant (Sagamihara City, Kanagawa Prefecture) and promote initiatives to help cultivate future talent in Sagamihara City.
