Taisei Oncho to Sponsor 'Shinagawa LIGA.i Blind Soccer© Top League 2026 Matchday 1'

Taisei Oncho Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Shinagawa Ward, Tokyo; President and CEO: Kenichi Mizutani; hereinafter 'Taisei Oncho') will sponsor the 'Shinagawa LIGA.i (Liga-i) Blind Soccer© Top League 2026 Matchday 1' as part of its sports and athlete support initiatives.

The 'LIGA.i Blind Soccer Top League' was established in 2022 as the first top-tier league in blind soccer, a sport for visually impaired athletes, and this year marks its fifth edition.

Amid growing interest in soccer, Matchday 1, to be held on Sunday, July 26, will take place in Shinagawa Ward, where the company is headquartered. Taisei Oncho will also operate a booth at the venue, Shinagawa City General Sports Gymnasium.

In April 2025, the company entered into a sponsorship agreement with the Japan Deaf Beach Volleyball Association, which promotes the philosophy of 'No one left behind,' becoming its official partner and supporting its activities.

The NPO Japan Blind Soccer Association, organizer of the 'Shinagawa LIGA.i (Liga-i) Blind Soccer© Top League,' shares a vision of 'realizing a society where visually impaired individuals and non-disabled people naturally coexist through blind soccer.' Taisei Oncho endorses this vision and initiative, and will support the league's promotion and development.

The company supports a wide range of sports, including beach volleyball, surfing, and golf.
