Globis University, Graduate School of Management (Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo; President: Yoshito Hori; hereinafter referred to as Globis Management School) held the award ceremony for the 22nd "Globis Alumni Award" at the Mito Civic Hall Globis Hall (Mito City, Ibaraki Prefecture) during the "Asuka Conference 2026" held on July 4th and 5th, presenting awards to a total of 5 individuals in three divisions: Creation, Innovation, and Social.
The "Globis Alumni Award" recognizes graduates who have led "creation" such as entrepreneurship and new business launches, and "innovation" of existing organizations and businesses. The award emphasizes not only financial aspects but also contributions to the improvement of social value and the personal charisma of the leaders.
The "Asuka Conference," the venue for the award ceremony, is an annual conference that brings together top leaders from various industries, as well as students (current and alumni) and faculty of Globis Management School. It aims to continuously provide a platform for fostering "skill development," "aspiration," and "human network," the educational principles of Globis Management School.
Approximately 1,400 people participated in the "Asuka Conference 2026," the 22nd iteration of the event. They gathered in Mito City, Ibaraki Prefecture, where the Globis Group is engaged in regional revitalization, to deepen their mutual learning.

Executive Officer, CMO, FUNDINNO Inc.
After joining FUNDINNO Inc. in 2019, he strongly led PR activities to expand recognition and build trust for Japan's first equity crowdfunding platform. He also spearheaded partnerships with major banks and advocated for regulatory reforms and policy recommendations to promote the unlisted market. Beyond his company's scope, he expanded the framework for supplying risk money to unlisted companies, significantly contributing to the development of Japan's startup ecosystem and the company's listing on the Tokyo Stock Exchange Growth Market in December 2025. This award is presented to honor his past activities and his continuous challenging leadership.
Kazuya Mononobe (Graduated 2022)
Representative Director, Synergy Inc.
Since founding Synergy Inc. in 2006, he has led the business through a strategic store opening approach focused on prime locations and diverse business model development. Even during the COVID-19 pandemic, he continued to open new stores, leading to a rapid increase in sales from 1.1 billion yen in 2016 to 6.6 billion yen in the last fiscal year. Furthermore, he has achieved extremely high profitability in the food service industry, with an operating profit margin exceeding 11%.
In addition, he has vigorously pursued productivity improvements through systematization and improvements in working conditions to address challenges in the food service industry such as long working hours and low wages, and further growth is expected. This award is presented to honor his achievements and his persistent fighting spirit as a business owner.

Megumi Tsuda (Graduated 2019)

As Executive Officer, Deputy Chief Sustainability Officer of Hitachi, Ltd., she is powerfully driving the sustainability transformation (SX) of a giant global corporation towards the realization of a "Harmonized Society" where environment, well-being, and economic growth are in balance. In 2025, she formulated the new sustainability strategy "PLEDGES." This served as a catalyst for transforming the awareness and actions of 280,000 group employees, greatly accelerating the creation of social value. Furthermore, she views diversity as a source of innovation and strongly promotes D&I. This award is presented to honor her outstanding leadership and commitment to innovation in building a resilient organizational foundation where everyone can take on challenges and demonstrate their abilities.
Asuka Miyabashira (Graduated 2017)

President, Japan Pharma Business Unit
She is active globally, having led business and organizational reforms in domestic divisions and in Vietnam and Indonesia at Takeda Pharmaceutical Company. In 2024, she became the first woman to assume the presidency of the company's Japan Pharma Business Unit (JPBU). Furthermore, in the same year, she became the first female chairman of the Kansai Pharmaceutical Association, and in 2025, the first and youngest female chairman of the Japan Pharmaceutical Manufacturers Association, powerfully driving reforms not only within her company but also across the entire pharmaceutical industry. This award is presented to honor her stance as a leader continuously implementing organizational change within a large corporation.

Ryota Dodo (Graduated 2015)
Representative Partner/CEO, Education Dormitory Business Division, Gokotsu LLC
After transitioning from the major general trading company Marubeni Corporation, he established Gokotsu LLC in Itoshima City, Fukuoka Prefecture. Focusing on social issues such as poverty among university students, youth isolation, vacant house problems in the region, and the weakening of local communities, he has developed seven facilities, including "Neppu-ryo," a community-interaction student dormitory created by renovating a traditional Japanese house.
He has further expanded his business to include cafes, shelf-sharing used bookstores, co-working spaces, and entrepreneur share houses. Moving beyond just "housing," he has strongly rooted a foundation in Itoshima that encourages diverse generations to interact and support each other's challenges. This award is presented to honor his activities and his dedicated leadership in addressing social issues.

◇ Asuka Conference
The "Asuka Conference" (ASKA = Assembly for Synergy, Knowledge and Ambition) is a two-day conference that brings together top leaders from various industries, as well as students (current and alumni) and faculty of Globis Management School, to continuously provide a platform for fostering "skill development," "aspiration," and "human network," the educational principles of Globis Management School. Participants engage in deep discussions, foster genuine exchange, learn cutting-edge business knowledge not obtainable through classes or textbooks alone, and envision the future. Each participant takes the inspiration gained here back to their workplaces, taking a step forward to change the future, such as by driving organizational reform or creating businesses that impact society.
