Shonan College of Health and Social Services (428 Onnuma, Atsugi City, Kanagawa Prefecture, Chairperson and President Hiroshi Takahashi), operated by the Sony Gakuen School Corporation, will collaborate with "Hon-Atsugi MyLord," operated by Odakyu SC Development Co., Ltd., and the local soccer team "Atsugi Hayabusa FC" to hold the "Shonan Summer Festival with Atsugi Hayabusa FC" on Saturday, July 18, 2026, from 10:30 AM to 3:30 PM, at "Miro Niwa" on the 4th floor of Hon-Atsugi MyLord 1.

A major feature of this event is the first-ever 3-party collaboration between Shonan College of Health and Social Services, Hon-Atsugi MyLord, and Atsugi Hayabusa FC.

This year, Atsugi Hayabusa FC will participate for the first time in the "Shonan Summer Festival," which has been held in cooperation with Shonan College of Health and Social Services and Hon-Atsugi MyLord. With the addition of sports experiences and player performances to the festival and workshop events planned by students, the event will evolve into something that can be enjoyed by a wider range of generations than ever before.

Students from the Suzuki Seminar and Iwamura Seminar of the Department of Integrated Business and Information at Shonan College of Health and Social Services will cooperate in planning and operation.

The university, commercial facility, and local sports team will bring together their respective strengths to create a lively summer atmosphere that children and local residents can enjoy, using Hon-Atsugi MyLord, a commercial facility directly connected to Hon-Atsugi Station, as the venue.

[Features of This Project]

1. First 3-Party Collaboration by University x Commercial Facility x Local Soccer Team (Shonan College of Health and Social Services x Hon-Atsugi MyLord x Atsugi Hayabusa FC)

We will create a summer festival that children and families in the community can enjoy by combining the planning capabilities of students, the community-open commercial space of Hon-Atsugi MyLord, and the appeal of sports from Atsugi Hayabusa FC.

2. First Collaboration with Atsugi Hayabusa FC

This year, Atsugi Hayabusa FC will participate in the "Shonan Summer Festival" for the first time.

At the venue, we will hold a "Footgolf Challenge" that children can easily try, as well as dynamic juggling performances by the players.

3. Festival and Stage Events Created by Shonan College of Health and Social Services Students

We will hold "Uchiwa (fan) making," "Ring toss," and "Color ball fishing" planned and operated by students.

In addition, there will be stage events by Shonan College of Health and Social Services students, including the Chorus Club, Kamishibai (paper play), and the dance circle "JOGO JOGO." A diverse program offering enjoyment all day long with sports, festival games, and workshops will be presented.

[About This Initiative]

At Shonan College of Health and Social Services, we emphasize practical learning where students collaborate with companies and community organizations to engage in planning and operation in real-world settings. In this event, students will consider ways to provide enjoyment to local residents and will be involved in meetings with stakeholders, preparations, and on-site operations.

This year, with the addition of collaboration with Atsugi Hayabusa FC, we aim for a new form of community exchange that connects the university, commercial facility, and local sports team.
