Atomi University Bunkyo Campus Consolidation

Atomi University (Bunkyo-ku, Tokyo; President: Mariko Mori) is currently preparing to consolidate all its educational activities to the Bunkyo campus starting in April 2029.

The Bunkyo campus, located a 2-minute walk from Myogadani Station on the Marunouchi Line, consists of Buildings 1, 2, and 3. Its convenient location not only simplifies commuting but also puts the Ginza and Otemachi office districts within a 10-minute subway ride. This is intended to increase convenience for students participating in early internships and job-hunting activities, further supporting their personal goals.

### What is Myogadani like?

Myogadani is a bustling area for students, home to Ochanomizu University, Chuo University, and Takushoku University. It is known as a "literary and educational town" with many educational institutions, including the University of Tsukuba's affiliated schools, and cultural facilities, providing a calm and focused environment. It is only two stops (5 minutes) from Ikebukuro Station, and the adjacent station in the opposite direction is Korakuen, home to the Tokyo Dome, which is also within walking distance.

### Current high school freshmen will study at the Bunkyo campus upon admission

For students enrolling up to fiscal year 2027, all faculties study at the Niiza campus for the first and second years and the Bunkyo campus for the third and fourth years. However, students enrolling in fiscal year 2028 will study at the Bunkyo campus from their second year, and those enrolling in fiscal year 2029 will study there from their first year. This will enable more active interaction between seniors and juniors, as well as more vibrant club activities than ever before.

### Cafeteria in Building 1 to be renovated in fiscal year 2026

The university is planning an open-space renovation for the first floor of Building 1, incorporating cafeteria, cafe, and lounge functions. The goal is to create a space where students can freely gather, interact, and engage in various activities.
