UNO HOTEL to Host 5th Anniversary Events in June and July

UNO HOTEL, operated by Uno Port Land Co., Ltd., will celebrate its 5th anniversary on July 1, 2026.

The hotel has grown with the hope of being an 'open space' where travelers and locals can naturally interact and share the charm of Setouchi. To express our gratitude to the guests, regional partners, and staff who have supported the hotel, we will hold a commemorative event centered around Sunday, July 5.

Mr. Yamaguchi, who lives in Setouchi, depicts flora and fauna full of vitality with an overwhelming expressiveness using free-flowing lines. Please experience the 'art that is only born at this moment,' including the process leading up to its completion.

Main Event (July 5) | Opening Ceremony

A modest opening ceremony to announce the start of the 5th-anniversary event will be held from 10:00. Along with greetings from the hotel, we will welcome the start of this special day together with everyone.

A workshop enjoyable for children and adults alike, offering an experience to freely express landscapes of memory by layering colored salt in bottles. You can create a one-of-a-kind 'salt art' while imagining the scenery of Setouchi. Completed works will be displayed inside the hotel until the end of July, after which you can take them home as a memory of your trip.

Staff will introduce concept rooms themed around Betty Smith, known for Kojima denim, as well as anniversary plan rooms and popular board game plans.
