Next-Gen Security Key 'ACS PocketKey+ Bio' with Fingerprint and NFC to Launch in Japan in June 2026

Kofuku Trading Co., Ltd. (HQ: Arakawa-ku, Tokyo) has announced the decision to launch Advanced Card Systems Ltd. (ACS) biometric security key 'ACS PocketKey+ Bio' in Japan in June 2026.

The ACS PocketKey+ Bio is a USB Type-C security key equipped with fingerprint authentication. It also supports NFC and is compliant with FIDO U2F and FIDO2 (CTAP2.1) standards, supporting the creation of a safer authentication environment that relies less on passwords.

This product is expected to be utilized in fields requiring high security levels, such as corporate, financial, administrative, and medical/insurance sectors. It is compatible with major platforms including Microsoft, Apple ID, iCloud, Google, Facebook, and X. With the high safety inherent to physical security keys, PocketKey+ Bio enables instant one-touch unlocking, preventing account hijacking risks from all angles.

Additionally, it features storage for up to 10 fingerprints and an EAL6+ encryption security model, offering a design that balances convenience and safety.

Kofuku Trading will proceed with proposals to corporate clients and the development of sales channels to drive full-scale expansion in the Japanese market.
