Ono Pharmaceutical Selected for SOMPO Sustainability Index for 5 Consecutive Years

Ono Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Chuo-ku, Osaka; Representative Director and President: Toichi Takino) announced that it has been selected as a constituent of the 2026 'SOMPO Sustainability Index' for the fifth consecutive year in recognition of its initiatives regarding ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance).

The SOMPO Sustainability Index is an active index created uniquely by SOMPO Asset Management Co., Ltd. by combining ESG evaluation and stock value evaluation, selecting approximately 300 stocks with excellent ESG initiatives. This index is utilized in SOMPO Asset Management's investment product, 'SOMPO Sustainable Management.'

We accept this selection as recognition of our continuous efforts regarding ESG. With the desire to 'remain a company needed by society,' we will continue to take on the challenge of realizing a sustainable society through responsible business activities.
