The spring roses at the Gifu World Rose Garden in Kani City, Gifu Prefecture, have been at their peak since mid-May. Currently, about 6,000 varieties of roses adorn the park, marking its most vibrant season of the year.
In addition to roses, many early summer flowers such as water lilies, hydrangeas, and poppies are reaching their peak across Gifu Prefecture. In response, a sightseeing route has been introduced to efficiently visit these famous flower spots scattered from Eastern Mino to the Central Mino area, allowing visitors to experience the "blue, green, and colorful" symbols of early summer in Gifu all at once.
Due to Gifu Prefecture's geographical features, including elevation differences, visitors can appreciate diverse vegetation in a short period by crossing areas during this season. This route is a golden path symbolizing the transition of Gifu's natural beauty from the "culture and color" of Eastern Mino to the "water and green" of Central Mino.
