50 Students to 17 Countries! Tokushima Prefecture's 'Tobitate! Study Abroad Japan' Participants Selected

We are pleased to announce that in the 'Tokushima Glocal Leader Development Project' (Tokushima Prefecture version of 'Tobitate! Study Abroad Japan'), which supports high school students' exploratory activities through overseas study abroad through collaboration between local industry, academia, and government, we received applications from 112 individuals, and have selected 50 students for dispatch.

The selection results for the dispatched students are being published from today on the project's webpage.

'Send-off Party and Pre-Orientation' for Dispatched Students to be Held on Sunday, June 14!

To encourage the high school students who are about to take off into the world, we will hold a 'Send-off Party and Pre-Orientation' as follows. On the day, as part of industry-academia-government collaboration, we will conduct a practical workshop where representatives from supporting companies and local universities will provide advice on the students' research plans.

[Part 1: Send-off Party]

Words of encouragement from the council chairperson (Tokushima Prefectural Board of Education Superintendent) and supporting companies, declaration of determination by dispatched students, commemorative photo, etc.

[Part 2: Pre-Orientation]

Research (Study Abroad) Plan Polish Workshop, Lecture on Research (Study Abroad) Plan Polish (Lecturer: Mr. Takuto Inoue, ZINEN LLC), Safety Management Training, etc.
