Tokushima Prefecture Launches 'Summer Holiday Children's One-Day Free Bus Pass' from July 17, Offering Unlimited Rides on Designated Routes for 100 Yen (Elementary) and 200 Yen (Junior High)

Tokushima Prefecture and the Tokushima Area Traffic Congestion Countermeasures Promotion Council have been selling the 'Summer Holiday Children's One-Day Free Bus Pass' since fiscal year 2015, in cooperation with local transportation operators. The initiative aims to provide children with opportunities to become familiar with local bus services and to increase future ridership and alleviate traffic congestion in Tokushima City and surrounding municipalities.

This year, we are once again offering a free pass that allows unlimited rides on designated bus routes within Tokushima Prefecture during the summer vacation for elementary and junior high school students. Details are as follows:

1. About the Free Pass

### Price

Elementary students: 100 yen, Junior high students: 200 yen

* Valid for one day only, allowing unlimited boarding and alighting on designated bus routes (see below).

### Eligible Bus Routes

- All Tokushima Bus routes - All routes operated by Tokushima City Transportation Bureau (Tokushima City Bus) - Taniguchi Line operated by Tokushima Bus Minami (from Anan Medical Center to Kawaguchi)

* Excludes highway buses, airport limousine buses, and community buses.

### Sales Period

July 17 (Fri), Reiwa 8 – August 31 (Mon), Reiwa 8

### Valid Usage Period

July 18 (Sat), Reiwa 8 – August 31 (Mon), Reiwa 8

### How to Use the Pass

- Purchase the pass at designated sales locations (see below). - On the day of use, mark a circle (○) on the pass using an oil-based pen. - Board any eligible bus and present the marked pass to the driver when disembarking.

### Refund Policy

- Refunds are possible only for unused passes. - A handling fee of 100 yen per pass applies. - Please note that no refund value is provided for elementary student passes.
