The sand steam bath of Ibusuki. When covered in sand, one feels a sense of liberation, as if returning to the primal essence of humanity, connected deeply with the earth. We sought to express this sensation within a guest room. A cave-like space crafted from materials evoking the color and texture of sand, shaped by meticulous artisan work, offering tranquil views of Kinko Bay. This escape from daily life suggests a new era of luxury—one that gently unravels the relationship between nature and human beings. From the Hakusuikan of the past to the Hakusuikan of the future—experience the beginning of a new chapter.
