The Japan Marketing Academy (Chairman: Hidehiko Nishikawa) has announced the six nominees for the 9th 'Marketing Book of the Year 2026'.
Members of the Japan Marketing Academy, comprising over 3,000 researchers and practitioners with deep expertise in marketing, cast their votes.
The first round of voting targeted original marketing-related books (including textbooks, excluding translations) published in Japan between April 1, 2025, and March 31, 2026. The top six books by vote count were selected as nominees.
In the second round of voting, academy members will vote on the nominees to determine the 'Marketing Book of the Year 2026'. The results and the awards ceremony (for the Grand Prize and Runners-up, i.e., Best 3) will be held at the Marketing Conference scheduled for October 25, 2026 (Sunday).
The six nominated works are as follows:
