The Japan National Tourism Organization (JNTO) will conduct training aimed at strengthening nationwide networks of DMCs, businesses, and others involved in adventure travel (hereinafter "AT") in Japan, continuing from last year.
This training provides an opportunity for participants to deepen their knowledge of AT while building networks across the positions of buyers, sellers, and others. Applications are scheduled to begin in late June to early July.

Event name: 2026 Adventure Travel Domestic Networking Training
Date and time: 1st session: September 28, 2026 (Mon) approx. 13:00 - September 29 (Tue) approx. 16:00
2nd session: October 28, 2026 (Wed) approx. 13:00 - October 29 (Thu) approx. 16:00
Location: 1st session: Fukuchiyama City, Kyoto Prefecture
2nd session: Tsuruoka City, Yamagata Prefecture
Target: AT practitioners currently active in Japan (DMCs, DMOs*, businesses, guides, etc.) who meet the following conditions:
① Have decision-making authority or execution authority regarding the creation and sale of AT products in their own region
② Have strengths in any of the following: language skills, guide skills, or DMC operations
③ Have the willingness to apply the training content to their own region and lead collaboration among stakeholders
*Note: Participants belonging to DMOs must be practitioners in the department that actually sells or arranges AT.
Capacity: 15 persons per session
Participation fee: Free
* Transportation to the venue and alcoholic beverages at the social gathering are at participants' own expense
* Accommodation costs (other than transportation), participation fees for training and fieldwork, dinner on the first day, breakfast and lunch on the second day are covered by the organizer.
