Aubergine Shinjuku Main Store, in anticipation of its 40th anniversary next year, will launch 'Summer Beef Curry'—its first summer-limited product since its founding—available from Monday, July 20, 2026 (a national holiday) through Wednesday, September 30, 2026. Building on its long-loved Western-style curry sauce, the new dish incorporates aromatic spices and a refreshing tang, resulting in a medium-spicy flavor that remains enjoyable even in hot weather. Developed with professional product developers through countless iterations, it will be available via takeout at the Shinjuku store, as well as at Gransta Tokyo, Seibu Ikebukuro (BENTO Station), delivery, and online shopping.

In 1987, the year of its founding, Aubergine won the Gold Prize in the 3rd Japan Location Bento Awards for its 'Chicken Curry'.

Since its inception, Aubergine has remained steadfast in its dedication to 'Western-style curry only,' earning the affection of countless customers and establishing itself as a leading brand in location catering for film and TV productions, including winning the Japan Location Bento Awards.

On the occasion of its upcoming 40th anniversary, driven by the desire to 'let more customers enjoy Aubergine' and 'deliver a dish people crave specifically in summer,' the company has taken on the challenge of developing its first-ever summer-limited product.

'Summer Beef Curry' is based on Aubergine's signature rich Western-style curry sauce, enhanced with aromatic spices and a refreshing acidity to achieve a medium-spicy flavor that retains depth while finishing light and clean. Countless test batches were developed alongside professional product developers, with each curry made by hand.

Born as a new seasonal challenge while honoring the flavors long cherished, 'Summer Beef Curry' will be available from July 20 (Mon, Holiday) to September 30 (Wed), 2026, as a limited-time offering. It will be sold through takeout at the Shinjuku store, as well as at Gransta Tokyo, Seibu Ikebukuro (BENTO Station), delivery, and online shopping, becoming summer's new 'face of Aubergine'.
