Taku Sakaushi 1st Class Architect Office, led by architect Taku Sakaushi, has announced its reorganization into a new corporate structure, D.A. (Diverse Architects) Co., Ltd., to accommodate the expansion of its business domains.

Simultaneously, a subsidiary, D.A. fashion & book Co., Ltd., has been established to drive creative activities that transcend the boundaries of traditional architecture.

Taku Sakaushi has assumed the role of Representative Director for D.A. Co., Ltd., while Hirofumi Nakagawa has been appointed Representative Director of D.A. fashion & book Co., Ltd.

Sakaushi has long been involved in publishing to share architectural thoughts with society, while Nakagawa has been exploring new expressions through clothing by launching his own fashion brand. Under the new structure, D.A. aims to create spatial and cultural value in broad domains with architecture at its core. D.A. fashion & book will function as a platform to connect ideas and sensibilities to society through media such as clothing and publications.

We actively engage in cross-disciplinary craftsmanship, connecting specific thoughts and techniques from various fields to open new creative possibilities.

### Architecture We handle a wide range of designs, including residences, commercial spaces, public facilities, and regional projects. We value the comfort and sensation of people in each space, focusing on light, materials, and atmosphere. We also work on creating spaces that generate new flows of people and exchange while utilizing the charm of local scenery and existing buildings.

Works include: "House of Double Image" (photo: Tomoyuki Kusunose), "Fujimi Hut" (photo: Yuki Seshimo), and "Mt. Fuji Gibier Processing Center" (photo: Hirofumi Nakagawa).

### Clothing Through the fashion brand "Sein," where Hirofumi Nakagawa serves as Creative Director, we create garments incorporating architectural perspectives. Focusing on material texture, layering, and the relationship with the body, we explore designs that bring new sensations and presence into daily life by crossing architecture and fashion.

Recent exhibitions include the collection show "What can I find in the darkness."

### Publishing Taku Sakaushi continues his writing activities, moving beyond mere project introductions to convey the underlying philosophy, social relationships, and sensations architectural spaces provide. Through various media like books, essays, and exhibition texts, he aims to open architecture to society rather than keeping it within a specialized field.
