ORJ RACING to Exhibit at "Yatomi City Summer Festival 2026" on July 26 (Sun)! Featuring Racing Car Display, Kids Mechanic Experience, and Talk Shows by Drivers Yohei Ono and Shoji Iwata

ORJ Co., Ltd. (Head Office: Anjo City, Aichi Prefecture, Representative Director: Kunihiro Iwatuki, hereinafter "ORJ") is pleased to announce its participation in the "Yatomi City Summer Festival 2026" held on Sunday, July 26, 2026, as part of the "YATOMI 20th DREAM GARAGE" exhibition project commemorating the 20th anniversary of Yatomi City's administration.

As part of this project, ORJ RACING will provide racing cars and conduct a kids mechanic experience, driver talk shows, and a racing car cockpit experience, with participation from racing drivers Yohei Ono and Shoji Iwata.

ORJ RACING aims to give back to the local community by sharing its experience in race car maintenance, race support, and team management cultivated on the circuit. The goal is to convey the joy of interacting with cars, the importance of jobs that support manufacturing, and the value of challenging oneself towards dreams to the children of Yatomi City.

◆About "YATOMI 20th DREAM GARAGE"

"YATOMI 20th DREAM GARAGE" is an experiential content project developed for the Yatomi City Summer Festival 2026 as part of the 20th-anniversary celebration of Yatomi City's administration.

With the concept "Let's Drive the Future in the City of Goldfish," and themed around "See, Touch, Learn, Photograph, Take Home," this experiential booth offers enjoyment for all ages, from children to adults. It combines a racing car display, kids mechanic experience, job experience with local companies, and photo sessions to provide special learning and experiences for the children who will lead the region's future.

ORJ RACING will primarily cooperate with the racing car display area, creating an opportunity for visitors to experience the world of real motorsports, usually only seen at circuits, in the familiar setting of a local summer festival.

◆Content Information

BMW & MINI Racing MINI JCW Display & Engine Sound Performance

A MINI JCW will be displayed at the venue, allowing visitors to see the vehicle up close.

Through the power of a car built for the circuit, its detailed craftsmanship, and the presence unique to a racing car, visitors, especially children, will experience "real motorsports."

In addition, displays of Formula cars, classic cars, and sports cars are planned.

Racing Car Cockpit Experience

Children will have the opportunity to sit in the cockpit (driver's seat) of a racing car, experiencing the steering wheel, seat, and the atmosphere inside, offering a special experience that cannot be conveyed through photos alone. This is a valuable opportunity to experience what it's like to be a real racing driver.

Through the words of racing drivers competing on the circuit, the content will convey not only the excitement of racing but also the depth of the technology supporting automobiles, the value of teamwork, and the intricacies of jobs related to motorsports.

About the Participating Racing Drivers

Yohei Ono

A racing driver active in BMW & MINI Racing, Super Taikyu, and other racing categories. At the Yatomi City Summer Festival 2026, he will convey the appeal of motorsports, the importance of challenging oneself, and the value of jobs that support racing to children through the kids mechanic experience and driver talk shows.

Shoji Iwata

A racing driver active in the motorsports scene, scheduled to participate in this project.

On the day, he will participate in driver talk shows and kids mechanic experiences alongside Yohei Ono, conveying the job of a racing driver and the charm of motorsports to children.

The Yatomi City Chamber of Commerce and Industry Youth Division is an organization composed of young business owners and successors who gather to promote the revitalization of Yatomi City and foster the next generation.
