The Tokyo Metropolitan Government and the Tokyo International Cultural and Art Festival Executive Committee will hold a new urban cultural and art festival, "ARTE TOKYO (Tokyo International Cultural and Art Festival)," from Saturday, October 10, 2026, to Thursday, December 31, 2026.

This festival is designed to connect diverse programs such as art, theater, music, illuminations, and entertainment held in Tokyo from autumn to winter, portraying each sparkle as the charm of the entire city. In the highly dense and multi-layered landscape of Tokyo, where diverse human activities overlap, the festival aims to create an unprecedented urban cultural experience by combining creative cultural and artistic endeavors centered on art with the city, launching new scenery, and offering continuous discoveries and emotions while touring the city.

For its inaugural year in 2026, with the Waterfront Area, Hibiya/Marunouchi Area, and Yoyogi/Shibuya Area as core zones, numerous art and entertainment projects, including a revival of the Tokyo 2020 Games cultural program, will be developed in parks, waterfronts, and other urban spaces in conjunction with various events.

Please look forward to the "new autumn/winter Tokyo landscape" that ARTE TOKYO will weave and depict.

Additionally, we are now recruiting diverse cultural and artistic programs (partner programs) that can help enliven this festival. Through public relations collaboration and network formation with events by various entities, we aim to ensure attractive initiatives resonate, form a sense of unity in Tokyo, and lead to mutual visitor exchange across areas. We look forward to many applications.
