The Tokyo Metropolitan Government Bureau of Social Welfare and Public Health will conduct public voting for "I Realized I Was Supported by Someone - Heartwarming Welfare Episodes -" from Monday, July 6th to Friday, July 31st, until 5:00 PM.

In this campaign, heartwarming episodes from everyday interactions with welfare professionals, such as "they were by my side" or "I was saved," were solicited from users of welfare services and their families. From the 161 submissions received, a selection committee has chosen five episodes. The grand prize episode will be decided through public voting. The grand prize-winning episode will be made into a drama and is scheduled to be broadcast as a TV commercial and on large screens at major stations. Those who vote will be entered into a lottery to win one of 50 Amazon gift cards worth 1,000 yen.

Welfare work is an essential service that is indispensable to daily life. Through this campaign, the Tokyo Metropolitan Government aims to widely communicate the social value of welfare professionals to those who are not usually involved in welfare and to younger generations.
